Top Secret Nutrition was co-founded by long-time colleagues, business partners, and friends, Tom Richardson, David Zinn and Augusto Vidaurreta.
They built Top Secret Nutrition to reflect their shared passions and values: unsurpassed integrity, affinity for excellence, and a belief that consumer brands should be meaningful to and make a positive difference in people’s lives.
Tom Richardson is a serial entrepreneur with numerous successful ventures under his belt. He started his career with Arthur Andersen Consulting and has an MBA from the University of Miami. He has started and sold a number of businesses, from consultancies to banks to investment firms. A frequent public speaker, Tom is also a writer; the book he co-authored, “Business is a Contact Sport” was a New York Times Best Seller. Tom has extensive expertise in dietary supplement product development, packaging, positioning, distribution, and marketing.
David Zinn’s entrepreneurial aspirations were demonstrated in his various executive-level positions in corporate America. These experiences provided the foundation for his early success in growing start-up ventures. His passions now include developing brands, strategic growth and digital media. David earned his Bachelor of Science with Athletic-Student Honors from Miami University, and has an executive education in Digital Marketing Strategy from Columbia University. He also currently serves on the business advisory board of two private companies and on the advisory board and organizing committee of non-profit organizations.
Augusto (Gus) L. Vidaurreta, co-founder and CEO of Top Secret Nutrition, has a long career of successful entrepreneurial ventures. His career began on the business side at The Miami Herald Publishing Company; after a decade there he joined Arthur Andersen Consulting. He left to found a privately funded consulting firm which was sold to Cambridge Technology partners; from there he pursued a number of other diversified business opportunities. He is a frequent lecturer on the subject covered in the New York Times bestselling book “Business is a Contact Sport” that he co-authored, and a distinguished alumnus of Florida International University (BS) and University of Florida (MBA). Gus is actively involved in the board of directors of several local charities.
